Cookie Notice

Version 1.0 Effective: March 2026

1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide analytical information to site owners.

We also use similar technologies including web storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) for session state management during interviews and training activities. These are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to third parties.

2 Cookies We Use

csrf_token Essential Protects against Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks on form submissions. Browser session No - required for security
cookie_consent Essential Stores your cookie consent preference so we don't ask again. 365 days No - records your choice
Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) Analytics Measures page visits, session duration, and traffic sources. Helps us understand how the Platform is used and improve it. Data is anonymised and aggregated. Up to 2 years Yes - decline via banner

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. We do not require your consent to place them; however, blocking them via browser settings will prevent you from logging in or using core features.

Analytics cookies are optional. If you decline, Google Analytics will not be loaded on your device.

3 Third-Party Cookies

We use the following third-party services that may set cookies or process data in your browser:

  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics.google.com) - Anonymised usage analytics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out globally via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Deepgram (deepgram.com) - Speech-to-text processing during interviews. Audio data is transmitted directly from your browser to Deepgram via a temporary scoped token. Governed by Deepgram's Privacy Policy. This is functional and only active during an active interview session.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media widgets that set third-party cookies.

4 Managing Your Preferences

When you first visit the Platform, a cookie consent banner is shown. You can accept all cookies or decline optional (analytics) cookies. Your choice is saved for 365 days.

You can change your preference at any time using the button below:

If analytics cookies are declined, we will not load Google Analytics. No analytics data about your visit will be collected from that point forward.

Effect on historical data: Declining or withdrawing consent stops future data collection. It does not delete analytics data already collected prior to your opt-out. Historical analytics data held by Google is subject to Google's own data retention policies. To request deletion of historical data, you may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and contact us at privacy@hirestrikecareer.com.

5 Browser Settings

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies will prevent login and core functionality. Browser-specific guides:
